Having enjoyed a dominant Superstock 600 campaign to date, Toprak Razgatlıoglu could clinch the title at Portimao on Saturday. He will do so by either winning the race or finishing second, with a certain set of circumstances occurring each time.

Toprak’s lead will become unassailable in Portugal if he wins the race and all of the following circumstances occur:

- Caricasulo finishes 11th or lower
- Rinaldi finishes 6th or lower
- Tuuli finishes 5th or lower
- Tucci does not finish on the podium

Toprak would also clinch the title by finishing second, under all of the following circumstances:

- Caricasulo fails to score points
- Rinaldi finishes 11th or lower
- Tuuli finishes 9th or lower
- Tucci finishes 7th or lower
- Morrentino finishes 3rd or lower
- Puffe and Fernandez do not win
